Are Bear Paw Silver pieces handmade?

Yes. Every piece is hand-finished in a Florida home studio using traditional jewelry techniques — saws, files, hammers, and 1650°F fire. No factory line, no mass production. Most pieces are one-of-one.

What metals do you work with?

Sterling silver, fine silver, ancient bronze, red bronze, brass, and 14k gold. The specific metal mix for each piece is listed on the product page.

Are rings sized to order?

Many rings are forged to your size — please leave your size in the order notes at checkout. Most armor rings can be resized later as your hands change. Stacking rings and pre-finished rings ship as-is.

How long does an order take to ship?

In-stock pieces ship within 3–7 business days. Made-to-size and custom pieces typically take 2–3 weeks. You'll get a tracking email when your order ships.

Where do you ship?

Shipping is free in the US. International shipping is calculated at checkout.

What's your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for in-stock pieces in unused condition. Made-to-size and custom pieces are final sale unless damaged on arrival. Full terms are on the Refund Policy page.

How do I care for sterling silver?

Store dry, away from humidity. A polishing cloth restores shine — never use harsh chemical dips on oxidized pieces; they'll strip the patina. The natural patina is part of the design and deepens beautifully with wear.

Can I commission a custom piece?

Yes. Custom orders open periodically — see the Custom Orders page or use the Contact form to request a slot.

What does "made to size" mean?

For rings: I forge the band to your specific finger size after you order. For cuffs: the cuff is shaped to fit your wrist size with a small adjustable gap. Always include your size in the order notes.

Do you do repairs or chain adjustments?

Yes. The Custom Chain Adjustment listing handles chain shortening, lengthening, or extender additions. For damage repairs, message via the Contact form first.
