My name is Crystal and I am the maker & artist, the heart & soul behind Bearpaw Silver. I believe there is no better designer than nature & she has always inspired me in my art & my life.
In 2018, I picked up a torch for the first time and discovered my love for metalsmithing. Each piece is completed entirely in my home studio with traditional jewelry techniques — hammer, files, saws & 1650°F fire.
01 — Natural Stones & Solid Metals
Natural gemstones and fossils are individually selected for their character, color, and beauty—and when the design calls for it, I hand-cut and shape stones in my studio. Every piece is crafted from solid sterling silver, bronze, copper, or gold.
02 — Process
Every piece begins as a hand-drawn design before it's carefully transferred to solid metal. Using a jeweler's saw, hammer, files, and 1,650°F fire, I cut, hammer, solder, and shape each element by hand. Every curve, texture, and detail is created one piece at a time.
03 — One-of-a-Kind & Made to Last
No two pieces are ever exactly the same. From the natural variations in each stone to the marks left behind by the hand that made it, every piece carries its own story. I embrace the unique details and small imperfections that make handmade jewelry feel truly alive.
Each piece is created slowly and intentionally, with care given to every detail. This is jewelry made to be worn, loved, and treasured for years to come.
